Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has increased the importance of effective training methodologies for developing technical, managerial, and process-oriented skills among employees and students. COBIT 5 and Kanban represent two different approaches to structured learning and professional development. COBIT 5 provides a governance and management framework for enterprise information technology, while Kanban emphasizes visual workflow management, continuous improvement, work prioritization, and efficient task completion. This study aims to comparatively examine COBIT 5 and Kanban training methodologies in terms of learning effectiveness, usability, learner engagement, and practical applicability. A quantitative research approach is proposed, using a structured questionnaire to collect primary data from individuals who have experience with or exposure to technology, project management, IT governance, or process-management training. The study will assess participants' perceptions regarding the clarity of training content, ease of understanding, practical usefulness, engagement, flexibility, and overall learning outcomes associated with the two methodologies. Descriptive statistics and comparative analysis will be used to interpret the collected data. The study is expected to provide insights into the similarities and differences between COBIT 5 and Kanban as training approaches and identify factors that influence their perceived effectiveness. The findings may assist educational institutions, organizations, trainers, and professionals in selecting or combining appropriate methodologies according to their learning and organizational requirements.
